Frequently asked questions about Role Play
The most popular roleplay costumes fall into several classic themes:
- Nurse / doctor: white with red cross, stethoscope as accessory
- Maid: black-and-white apron dress, often with lace
- Police officer: cap, badge, optionally with handcuffs
- Schoolgirl: plaid skirt, blouse, knee-high socks
- Secretary / businesswoman: tight skirt, glasses, blouse
- Firefighter / military: bold, with uniform elements
Tip: discuss with your partner beforehand which scenario appeals to you both. Roleplay works best when both partners feel comfortable.
Roleplay costumes often run more generously than regular clothing. Always check the size chart on the product page and measure your body:
- Bust: measure around the fullest point
- Waist: measure the narrowest point
- Hips: measure around the widest point
Many costumes are made from stretch fabric and fit multiple sizes. If you are between two sizes, choose the larger one.
See our plus-size lingerie for extended sizes.
Accessories elevate a costume:
- Props: stethoscope (nurse), badge or cap (police), feather duster (maid)
- Handcuffs or blindfolds: for a BDSM element
- Fishnet stockings or stay-ups: complete the silhouette
- Heels: finish almost any costume
It does not need to be expensive or elaborate — sometimes a single accessory with existing clothing is enough to set the mood.
Most roleplay costumes are made from:
- Polyester / spandex: stretchy, affordable, easy to wash
- Lace: decorative, often combined with stretch. Hand wash recommended
- Wetlook / vinyl: glossy, wipe clean with a damp cloth. Not machine washable
- Satin: luxurious look, machine wash at 30°C in a laundry bag
Care tip: always follow the care label. When in doubt: hand wash in lukewarm water, do not wring, dry flat.
